Volvo Tunisia Presents Its Electric SUV: The Revolutionary EX30

On Wednesday, June 26, Universal Motors, the official importer of Volvo in Tunisia, celebrated the launch of the 100% electric Volvo EX30 at a cocktail dinner held at the Charguia 1 Showroom.

Since its relaunch in 2022, Volvo Tunisia has stepped up its electrification strategy. Having become the only exclusively hybrid brand in Tunisia, it now unveils its third 100% electric model, embodying the brand's new style.

A Strategic Partnership

The launch also marked the announcement of a strategic partnership between Universal Motors and V2C, the Spanish manufacturer of electric vehicle chargers. This collaboration was unveiled in the presence of Mr. Hugo Mestre, Chief Business Officer of V2C, and Mr. Mohamed Ben Jemâa, General Manager of Universal Motors.

Volvo EX30: Minimalist Design and Innovations

The Volvo EX30 features an innovative, minimalist design. Its exterior and interior have been completely rethought to make the most of 100% electric platforms. The spacious cabin includes a 12.3-inch tablet combining the driver display and the central screen. Traditional speakers are replaced by a Harman-Kardon sound bar beneath the windshield for total immersion.

Dimensions and Scandinavian Aesthetics

The EX30 measures 4.23 m in length and 1.83 m in width, fitting perfectly within the minimalist Scandinavian aesthetic.

Availability in Tunisia

In Tunisia, the EX30 will be available in three trims: Core, Plus and Ultra, offering numerous options and features. "We opted for aggressive configurations and pricing to position the EX30 as the most affordable, best-equipped and highest-performing 100% electric compact SUV on the Tunisian market," says Mr. Aymen Montacer, Managing Director of Volvo Tunisia. The EX30 is the fastest premium car sold in Tunisia, going from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.
